fanlisting information
...a brief explaination on both subjects to aid in your confusion, if you have any.

fanlistings:
(taken from TFL.org) - A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.

the misfits:
The Misfits, who got their name from the last movie marilyn monroe starred in before her death, originated in a small town in new jersey in 1977. glenn danzig and jerry only had created a wonderful punk rock monster...

...during the danzig era, especially the beginning, the music was dark. and was inspired greatly by the entire genre of horror. ghouls, horror movies (especially b-movies), skeletons, skulls, made up what what we hear today. even their band icon, the fiend, was painted on pretty much everything they had owned. - another important icon the boys possess are their "devil-locks".

after a nasty break-up with Danzig, there were many a battle over the rights to "The Misfits". things finally settled and Jerry got the rights to the name of the band, and brought them back. this time, he brought Michale Graves for the bands vocals.

"american psycho" was released in spring of 1997. it was an embraced come back album for the band, however, many die hard misfits fans weren't happy. the sound was much different than it used to be. the songs weren't as dark, the sound was different because danzig wasn't there howling away, the songs were harder. the songs were more appealing to the masses, i suppose. either way, it was a big hit and most fans enjoyed what they heard. - the misfits first music videos came out of this album as well. there were videos for the singles "american psycho" and "dig up her bones".

in 1998, michael graves stepped down from the misfits. on their south american and european tour, the misfits replaced the empty vocal spot with the frontman known as Myke Hideous. he was long-time friends with jerry only and had no problem fronting the band on the tour. however, michale graves returned to record and tour for the album "famous monsters". (if you couldn't tell by the name, most of the songs are about horror movies and their characters.)

everything affiliated with the album "famous monsters" seemed to be stressful and draining and finally in 2000, graves and drummer for the misfits "dr. chud" left the band. they had walked off stage at a show in florida and quit. poor jerry only stood there singing "we are 138" by himself.

the rest of that tour was a little hectic. jerry had recruited the original drummer for the misfits (joey image) to fill the empty spot for two florida shows, and the drummer from Candiria had also joined for a few dates on the tour. - jerry had to fill in the vocal spot himself and then the vocalist for the band Ignite (zoli teglas) had joined to help out the band as front man.

in 2001, the band had fallen apart and again, came back. for the misfits 25th anniversary, they had a new line up which included marky ramone (of the ramones) and dez from black flag. they have been touring with that line-up since that year, and they just released their new CD "project 1950". thank you jerry only, for letting the legacy live on.
