recent purchases post! (i’m trying… lol)

i have always purchased these cheerleader shorts because of how comfy they are, and i found these prints on amazon.com.  i didn’t even realize they made printed ones because modell’s (where i usually buy them) only has solids, but i search amazon for random shit all the time and was pleasantly surprised :)

no idea what made me buy the teal tunic, because i never dress like a girl, but i saw it months ago and never got it and finally caved. now i need a cute belt so that i can actually wear it… it reminds me of some shit my mom would have worn in the 80′s. it’s super cheap and feels kinda gross, though. it’s all nylon or polyester or some shit…

i have been on a TOMS kick, so i got those red shoes. i have another pair of the stone-wash ones and i like the texture/colour, so i got those instead of the solids.

the tshirt was $7 on ebay, how could i even pass that up?! it’s so 1990′s, lol… i love it.

(or a rather large one…) and although brandon prust kicks a lot of arse on the ice, i really loved boogey. i couldn’t wait for his shoulder to heal, and for him to be back next season. for most of this season, he was out because of injury.

they found boogey deceased in his apartment today. he was only 28 years old :(
there hasn’t been any information on how he passed away.

to be honest with you, i can’t remember the last time i shed tears for someone of “celebrity” status – but i shed some ranger tears tonight.

i think i might have to rock a jersey all day tomorrow in honor of the NYR loss<3

this sucks.

i think that the ny rangers should feel lucky that they even got into the playoffs this year… and i know there have been some really bad calls/goals in these playoff games with the caps, and we are playing well, but we should have been playing at 120% instead of what we’re doing…  our offense is awful and our defense has been amazing…  so with that being said, scoring 3 goals last night and the caps being SCORELESS into the third period, one would think that we’d have it “in the bag”.

…instead, we gave up goals – they tied it up and then we lost in the second round of overtime.

…seriously? the rangers are breaking my heart.

i’m not giving up hope altogether, but it’s not lookin’ too good…  last night was a HUGE chance for us….  and we blew it.

so since lauren was injured, wearing a boot and on crutches, she got to take the elevator upstairs into the garden instead of taking the escalators. since we were all sitting in the 300′s, we went up together…  so after waiting what seemed like forever, all four of us joined the elevator worker and were on our way until we stopped for a pick-up.  the elevator dude poked his head out and asked if all four of us minded waiting for “mr. messier”, and we were all like “yeah okay”, lol.  we were all thinking he was kidding, and two minutes later he boarded the elevator! :)

we weren’t really star-struck, it was more just like disbelief because were all thinking that the elevator guy was just joking…  lol, he got on with a huge smile and chit chatted with us.  i don’t remember wtf i said to him, i just remember staring into his face like “IS THIS REAL LIFE???” – something along the lines of “good and hello” or some other non-important bs… lauren told him about how she injured herself up in boston after the game a couple of weeks ago and her sister chatted with him too. i don’t remember if ricky said anything, but i remember him just looking at him in awe… it was cute, lol.

we were all so out of it that we completely forgot to ask for a photo :( but whatever, it was the highlight of our night since the rangers lost HORRIBLY…

we’ve gotta pray for a miracle this weekend… hitting OT in the next game and a hurricanes loss would do the trick. everyone keep your fingers crossed for me :(

i hate facing this heartbreak… last years loss to the flyers at the end of the year was disgusting. poor erica and i were crying silently on the living room floor in the dark :(
