my monitor at home went kaput! and my computer is from like 2006? it was on the way out, so i ordered a new computer but it’s not shipping out until the 17th

so yeah, i haven’t been and won’t be posting much until then. i really don’t like using my website here at work. i don’t stray far from what i’m actually supposed to do… aside from le twitter – because it’s docked in my firefox status bar (all day/erryday) – i have good work ethic!

i bought this little jammy (in the dark orange colour):
yeah, it’s a dell… but i had credit with them, so i went with them again. the specs seem awesome and it’s small and cute… i wanted to get two monitors but went with a 24″ instead… i read good reviews about it so far… my boss called it “the pretty computer” as opposed to the fast beast he was trying to build for me, lol. i think it suits its purpose here, i didnt need anything too crazy.

wowza! poketo has a line coming out for target next month (i think mainly just bags). that’s nuts. i remember years ago when they were only selling those wallets.

i’m organizing all of my old bookmarks from the last 5/6 years that have been hanging out in the “imported from IE” section – been dreading it… so much to sift through… and there are so many websites that don’t exist anymore and it’s so fun to see who is still around and how they’ve changed. (like poketo!)

so i was on the search for new ear jewels because i’m bored of my usual shit and stumbled upon something i figured i’d share! (i know, me……….. sharing online finds?!)

oh man, i just stumbled upon this gem while i was looking for apt project ideas… now if only i could wall mount this bad boy… i’d buy two and have stacked shoe ferris wheels for all of my saucony jazz’s!!!

this weekend had its ups and downs. friday was fun, went for drinks afterwork with willie dictionary, then went to dinner with christine and erica…  christine is 4 1/2 months pregnant, CUTIE! and for some reason i haven’t seen her since february, so it was good to catch up with her…  we went to cinco de mayo (shocker) and then just went back to erica’s apartment to chill out – we were just shooting the shit and i was making her and erica laugh so hard they were crying… fun times

saturday morning, my sister and mother got into a huge fight – apparently “because of me” needing a ride to go pick up my jacket from the post office…  (below, sexy. fuck yes. and yeah it’s part/fleece. and it’s not heavy and gross for this time of year at all.)

long story short – sarah had a dr’s appt and was heading out like 20/30 mins from when i woke up so i figured i had time if my mom drove me up to get it, but my sister wasn’t having it…  so i went downstairs and asked my mom if she’d take me fast and she told me to ask my sister…  so i did…

sarah got pissed off that we were asking her for the car because my mom knew “she needed the car all week”, and then my mom got pissed because she was answering me snotty. so she tried to defend me…  don’t know why, but it all escalated between the two of them because they both have bad tempers. they were screaming at each other, and my sister was dropping F-bombs left and right… so my mom told my sister to pack her shit and move out, that she couldn’t take her attitude anymore, and my sister ended up cursing AT her… i just tried to calm the both of them down and make them stop…  i told my mother to stop answering her, and she did…  and then i went upstairs to try to calm sarah down with reasoning and talking and she stopped finally…

along with a new bikini, a new bag, a new jacket, a shit load of new iron-on letters, two more necklaces (almost forgot about the tigerrrr).

i am scared to even think about what getting to work tomorrow is going to be like in this snow…  i’m going to have to wake up like a half an hour earlier than normal to attempt getting there on time…

you know, i was only closing my inbox and about to go to sleep when i spotted a damn newsletter update from this good website i buy earrings/body jewelery from…  i spotted these shiny “hologram” jammies and had to snag them.  i got the black/clear and the purples.  the checkerboard ones are okay too…   i’m sure they’ll work out for some sort of themed event one day.

NOW i’m going to sleep.
