• drying the dishes in the drainboard and finishing the rest in the sink
• sweeping the floor (again – thanks oscar, you turd)
• putting the lid back on the garbage can
• cleaning the toilet/bathroom
• sleeping! (i haven’t done it correctly in days.)

i should DEFINITELY be:

• showering (all train stations were SWELTERING underground today AND both 7 trains i took today had no AC and i did a bunch of walking, eww.) and shaving my sandpaper legs
• sweeping the floor (there are little pieces of kitty litter everywhere – they get stuck in my feet i sweep like twice a day, he tortures me by doing it on purpose, i know it.)
• sleeping! (i haven’t done it correctly in days.)

but i’m tired and lazy. (erica and i just stuffed ourselves with spicy nuggies from wendy’s (yes, they are back. thank you, ilya) and i managed to also fit in a cheeseburger -____-)

in my own defense, i had a long ass day… had a lot of commuting to do… nearly died of heatstroke… came home and did the garbage and dishes right away… i have reasons to be pooped, i think!

i’m going to round up until 12:30AM and then start getting a move on.

heard about the book > went to buy it and saw it in the teen drama section (uhhhh okay no) > twilight movie comes out (HELLA FRANCHISED like omgz …no.) > be cool – ignore! – whatevz, who cares > two years later and one month ago – erica has the first one on via in demand > watched it, loved it > went home, ordered the second one on ppv > waited until the last second to go see eclipse, then it was only playing in one theater in queens (near my house) – now, this was tonight…

the theater was empty when we got there – just the two of us, so i was going to take a picture of lonely erica all alone in the empty theater… i started climbing over the seat in front of me and stopped for some reason – just kinda sat there for a second and when i looked up, a huge black dude walked in and saw me straddling it. it was like deer in headlights type of shit… i looked up at him, and for some reason i blurted out “ummmm… i can’t even come up with a good explanation for this” at/to him. he cocked his eyebrow and let out a sexual grunt. i just sat down and we were hysterical laughing.

after an agonizing hour long bus ride, i finally made it to main street for the LIRR to bayside… we chilled out in the air conditioning for a while and then made our way over to jackson heights to natives to sooth her craving for some yummy empanadas and beers… we stuffed ourselves silly with meat, rice and platanos and then we got some coffee and went home to watch a movie.

okay sooooooooo years ago i never read those books, and wanted to… so when they came out with the first movie – that shit was majorly over-franchised (i’m sure i don’t have to tell YOU) and i auto-boycotted it. well, i didn’t bash it or anything i just kind of lost interest in it altogether… i kinda didn’t want to bash it because i always felt it could have been a good series that i could have liked, anddd i love kristin stewart so i gave it a shot tonight.

i’m not saying it was omg fucking amazing and/or life changing… but i did like it a lot and i came home and watched the second one… erica and i have also set a date for eclipse next week, lol.

so yeah, apparently this was the first time a hockey game was ever aired in 3D – and we did it right from MSG theater just downstairs from the actual game… we had so much fun… i got seats three rows from the stage/screen right in the center. not bad at all. we met up with my home girl lauren (finally!)… she said it looked better from a little further back… it was groovy either way. i would invest in a 3D tv for sure – i’ve had my big, clunky tv for ages now – if there would be a time to move forward it would def. be for that and saving space, lol…

nothing beats going to a real game, but i’m glad i got to be part of ranger history WOO!

so yeah, came home… couldn’t sleep. heat dried me out, couldn’t breathe… so i called in sick today. i have to invest in some melatonin because this whole taking some nyquil to pass out sometimes, doesn’t work out in my favor. i felt like a pile of hot shit this morning, and i was pretty sick at the beginning of the week… when i’m run-down, it really hits me hard.

i watched a little trashy tv (maury/jerry) and then a movie (the wristcutters, again – although i will remind myself not to, again.) and napped. did the judge judy thang and went to little neck (yep, long island) to go to my old bosses new restaurant – erica’s working over there… i haven’t seen her in almost two weeks and i have been meaning to go over there anyways… haven’t seen my former boss in over a year…

hung out with a few former co-workers and erica’s sister for a while, then she drove me home.
it was good to see her… i get such withdrawal when i don’t.

my hair got complimented thrice today, one old lady told me it looked like a peacock and that i should keep doing it while i’m still young – told me to ride it out, lol.

going into the year 2000: my boyfriend randolph was working at MTV, i was upstate in mountainview (apt complex my cousins/i grew up in) wondering about the bullshit Y2K scare.

going into the year 2009: jimmy was blowing up my phone, steve and i were newly broken up and i was at home, trying to stay sane.

hope tonight is a little different.
spending it with erica, hopefully not thinking too much about everything bad that has happened in the last month.

my barista from work told me he was going to be on bell for a live performance at one of my regular bars, asked me if i knew where it was (lol) – i was very excited to have my brooklyn buddies down there (him and his gf who also works at my starbucks)! so i went over to erica’s and we met up with them at the bar…

erica left after a while because she wasn’t feeling well, and then my friend pat lee rolled through. we all hung out, enjoyed the cover band for a while… i was getting harassed by a youngin’, we entertained this for a while and then we all left.

my family and i didn’t really do anything for xmas. we were all pretty broke, so i promised my mom i’m going to take her to see mary poppins on broadway next month, and for my sister – i’ve got a few gems up my sleeve. but this month all had to go to apt. stuff… i mean, i know it’s not all about gifts, but we all look forward to it as well… my sister bought me the wicked witch of the west collectors barbie that i had wanted, russian nesting doll measuring cups for my new apt, and a slimer (from ghostbusters) coin bank (BEST!)

pat lee came over on xmas eve to help me out with my poor, charlie-busted computer… he installed windows 7 for me – it’s lovely so far! (thanks dude!) – so now i can update my poor, neglected blog again…

i slept for most of the day both days which has totally screwed up my sleep schedule now, worst.

last night a bunch of me and my sisters friends went out for my sisters birthday which was postponed because of the snow storm last weekend… the usual bar we go to where we can avoid all the annoying ugg-wearing/ditzy dancing bitches was filled with just that – and a DJ… worst. i guess they were looking to draw in a new crowd to pack the place – so annoying. but towards the end of the night it filtered out… ran into a few friends – one including a twitter-induced spotting (lol!) and let loose a little.

first thing she does is look at me and goes “WHO ARE YOU?”. i’m like ??? WHO ARE YOU??? lol. and so i sit down to eat and she starts walking underneath the eat in kitchen bar thing and starts tickling my feet and then my back. i’m like dude, who are you? HOW OLD ARE YOU? lol… i needed details.

she was four, and her name was faith.

she told me that my pasta was gross and she kept tickling my sides and then started scratching my back and then ran away into bens room… a few minutes later she comes back and asks me “why is your hair orange?”. she said her daddy didn’t like it, and that i’m the “crazy” girl… so i called erica’s cousin ben out to the kitchen to explain how little children work. if they hear something, the repeat it. he kinda laughed and tried to explain why he said it.

she followed us into the living room and kept climbing all over me. stacking pillows next to me, chatting it up… it was adorable. i LOVE talking to little kids (2/3-6 are the best!)… i taught her to say “LETS GO RANGERS” but she just kept saying “GO RANGERS!”. annnnnndddd they lost.

at one point, she elbowed me in the boob. so i had to explain to her why it hurt, and what a boob was. and she went OHHHHHH! and grabbed a handful of my righty, and ripped it forward. good day to wear a non-padded bra… owww. she laughed. and ran.

i liked her. aside from injuring me…

we got some coffee to escape the child-insanity and then i came home…

i was cleaning/throwing out shit i don’t want anymore. donating some as well… i got rid of so much crap during the move to/from brooklyn… productive! once i’m settled in the apartment i’m going to sell whatever i think is “good/rare” shit and don’t want to donate… ebay or etsy or something, i dunno.

george came by to kiss me goodnight<3 he was in the ‘hood.

spent a lot of time with erica – actually a lot of the last week was spent with her. i want to get in as much time as i can while i’m still living over here… we had dinner together, hung out at the house because the weather was shit… got drunk. then i wobbled over to the knights to see my love jennifer<333 we drank, had some laughs, went across to the diner and had a romantic late night snack<3 and then we went home... (after waiting an hour for our cabs - worst!)

saturday i slept in and then george asked me if i wanted to go out with him to some bar and it wound up being his brothers birthday. soooo i met his brother (and his fiancé) for the first time at a german restaurant/bar in long island city. it was a lot of fun, they were both super nice we watched the ranger game (it was the first game against scott gomez<3 ugh. anddd the rangers lost, meh.) and then we left after a while... cuddlefest! best!<3 </CORNBALL>

george dropped me off this afternoon and erica and i picked right back up where we left off, chowing down @ cinco de mayo (shocker) drunk&sober by 7PM. we watched the yankee/angels game and then we went shopping and here i sit typing this. when i should have hair dye on my head.

will do that now.

i just want to spoon him all night. (lol)

i kinda want to throw a fit, lol.

i want to stay home tomorrow.
i want to veg out, watch tv, sleep in, do nothing.

i don’t even know what i’m doing this weekend. i can’t remember if i made any plans or not.

i just want to move into my new place and get settled. living out of two bags and the shit in my dresser is making me nutso.
